Indian Education System - A Future Nightmare

Indian Politics has been going through a weird phase. The 2014 Loksabha elections and a non-Congress Government’s majority made it very clear that India would go through a drastic change. But this change hasn’t been drastic only for politics, but for all the fields and sectors. Since then the attempt of changing the political mentality has started and one needs to understand this. In order to emboss their mentality and thoughts, education sectors have been under Government’s constant attacks. The syllabus and the books also have been changed to start a new era of lies. As everyone knows BJP is the daughter ideology of RSS which thinks that their base is Cultural Hindu Nationalism. Education till now was westernized was a common complaint of BJP ministers and people working under them and supporting them. After 2014’s triumph, the same ideology and changes in accordance with this ideology have spread even faster. Prof. Dinanath Batra, the founder of Shikshan Bachao Andolan (Save Education Campaign) is very clear about his principles. He also lodged a complaint against this western education system (he belonged to the same party and the principles). He banned many books that talk against and criticize his ideology. As he is an education expert, Government has given him several senior posts in Government Education Organization. The government has, in some schools, made his own writing, a part of compulsory study material. Gujarat Government has made his book ‘Tejomay Bharat’ compulsory non-academic books to be studied. Some of the things mentioned in this book are:
1)    Lord Rama first traveled through Pushpak Viman (aeroplane). This airplane was first invented by Indians. The first every in the world. Thus India is the mother of Aeronautical engineering.
2)    Vedic math is the only true math, and it should be taught in schools.
3)    Prof. Batra has invented so many new things without proof. One of them is: One couple did not have a child. They worshiped cow and they got a baby. Thus, worshipping cow is the only method if you do not have a child. This invention made by Dr. Batra has been made compulsory part of the study in Gujarat Government’s Class 8 science book.
4)    Not only that, he, in his book TEJOMAY BHARAT, he confidently made a statement that stem cells technology was first invented in India, and as a proof, he gave an example of Kunti from Mahabharata.
5)    In Primary school textbook, he invented a new thing saying that automobile technology too was invented by Indians, and as an example, he mentions ‘Anashv Rathh’ from Mahabharata.
6)    He further goes and says that the live commentary made by Sanjay for Dhrutrashtra in Mahabharata is the perfect example of telecasting, and that too is a product of Indian origin.
7)    The best thing is the Preface of this textbook, that has been written by Mr. Narendra Modi. He must have written the Preface without reading the book, I think.
8)    During the inauguration of Amabani Hospital, Mr. Narendra Modi showered his wisdom on the nation saying that Lord Ganesha’s elephant head transplant is the example of plastic surgery that was invented by Indians thousands of years ago. Mr. Modi too proved himself as a student of Prof. Batra’s school.
9)    Prof. Batra has made changes in Haryana state school syllabus as well. In those textbooks, instead of having the National Pledge or Preamble, he has put SARASVATI VANDANA.
10) This book starts with his own poem: I have seen a dream of building education on the base of Hindutvv, and nationalism.
11) Rajasthan Government syllabus has Parshuram’s character study (a complete book) (A recent announcement)
12) IIT Khagpur is about to announce Vaastrushatr in their study.
13) On December 3, 2014, BJP minister Ramesh Pakhriyal in Loksabha made a statement that Indian astrology is far advanced than western sciences, and it should be an integral part of school syllabus, and BJP Government would try their best in doing the same.
14) Act 51 (A) in Indian Constitution talks about inculcation and promotion of science through schools and educational organization. Here, everything is going opposite.
15) The government emphasizes on promoting Swadesi (Made in India products) and to do that they are creating and writing a wrong history. God save this education system.
16) The ideology of a student and his thought process is the result of his school and college education. Formal education demands rational and scientific belief.
Changing school books is ok, but mentioning wrong and irrational things are not acceptable. This is like hanging rationality and science publically.

Dr. Narendra Dabhilkar, Comrade Govind Pansare, Dr. Kalburgi were murdered because they promoted scientific belief and rationality. Now the government wants to murder logic and rational thinking.
